A-Grade Armor Recipe Quests by ~Riion
Hey guys, I have done some research about a-grade recipe quests, but it seems that there are no quests to get the body recipes.
The TOI quest only gives gloves, boots and helm recipes.
Begin the quest by talking to Warehouse Keeper Walderal in Aden. He asks you to hunt:
- Corrupt Sages (3rd Floor).
- Erin Ediunces (4th Floor).
- Hallate's Inspectors (5th Floor).
- Messenger Angels (7th Floor).
- Platinum Guardian Prefects (9th and 10th Floor).
At the Tower Of Isolense.
They drop special items that can be exchanged for rewards:
- Revelation of Seals Set (1-7): 4000 adena, Nightmare helm, boot, glove designs OR Majestic helm, boot, glove designs
- Ancient Epic Set (1-5): 1-3 Tallum helm, boot, glove designs
- Imperial Genealogy (1-5): 1-3 Dark Crystal helm, boot, glove designs
- ToI Blueprint Set (1-13): Either a A-grade helm, boot, glove design, or a recipe. You choose which armor set you want, so that part is not random.

To begin the quest Exploration of Giants Cave, Part 1 talk to Head Researcher Sobling at the Western-most entrance to Giants Cave. He will tell you to hunt yintzus, paliotes, hamruts and kranrots, which are all found throughout the upper section of Giants cave.
They will drop ancient parchments. The parchments and the items they open up into are tradeable and you can setup shops with them. If you open the parchments, they will turn into one of the following items:
Giants Doodle
Giants Loveletter
- Book: Giants Medical Science Chapters 1-5
- Handbook: Giants Architecture Chapters 1-5
- Blueprint: Giants Golem Chapters 1-5
- Book: Basics of Giants Magic Chapters 1-5
The Giants Doodles and Loveletters are the items the parchments turn into most frequently and cannot be traded in to Sobling and should be sold to the shop for 100 adena each. You need all 5 chapters of one book type to turn them in as a reward to Sobling. You will randomly receive one of the two recipes for each set of books from the list below:
Book: Giants Medical Science
60% Recipe: Tallum Tunic
60% Recipe: Tallum Stockings
Handbook: Giants Architecture
60% Recipe: Dark Crystal Leather Armor
60% Recipe: Tallum Leather Armor
Blueprint: Giants Golem
60% Recipe: Dark Crystal BreastPlate
60% Recipe: Tallum Plate Armor
Book: Basics of Giants Magic
60% Recipe: Dark Crystal Gaiters
60% Recipe: Dark Crystalline Leggings
While killing monsters in Exploration of Giants Cave, Part 1 there is a chance that you will earn a Mysterious Book in your quest inventory. Bring this to Sobling, who tells you to bring it to Warehouse Freightman Cliff in Oren Town. He will translate it into the Ancient Language Dictionary: Intermediate Level. Bring this back to Sobling and you can activate the Exploration of Giants Cave, Part 2 quest. He will tell you to hunt Lesser Giant Solders, Lesser Giant Scouts, Lesser Giant Mages and Lesser Giant Elders.
They will drop Ancient Titan Books. The Ancient Titan Books and the items they open up into are tradeable and you can setup shops with them. If you open the parchments, they will turn into one of the following items:
Giants Doodle
Giants Loveletter
Alamanac: Titan Culture Chapters 1-5
Book: Giants Science & Technology Chapters 1-5
You will randomly recieve one of the following recipes as a reward for trading in a complete set of 5 chapters:
60% Recipe: Majestic Plate Armor
60% Recipe: Majestic Leather Armor
60% Recipe: Armor of Nightmare
60% Recipe: Nightmare Leather Armor
These quests are lvl 51 and lvl 57!
