Light armor: Majestic VS Nightmare

Ok, here is the question:

Which one is better for a dagger (AW in this case)... MJ or NM set?

This is not a trivial question as some may say.

NM stats:
M. Def. +4%,
Sleep and Hold Resistance +70%,
Restores 3% of melee damage inflicted on the enemy to oneself,
DEX +1, and CON -1.

MJ stats:
Archery P. Atk. +8%,
MP +240,
weight +5759,
Stun Resistance +50%,
DEX+1, CON-1.

Consider MP importance for AW class fighter. Ty for opinions.

I dunno, AW con is already low and it has stun resistant and you wanted more mp right? MP +240 here you go. In terms of pvp, its good against fighters. About NM it has the things that helps you against mages its better than majestic in that case, stun resistant and evasion wont help against nukes, If you have to pick between these two id say Majestic

I rejected DC because of its -CON +STR... dunno if thats a good idea but i did so. I was considering these to more for PvE not PvP because AW sucks in PvP no matter who u fight... With that low HP u won't get even close to ANY ranged class - AW is just not fast enough (I think).

As you see on the server, MJ is an archers armor. I've seen a few dagger-classes with such an armor, but they only wore it for training people. The only good thing on this armor is the "stun ressistance". But how many times you get stunned? Iirc dagger-classes have high evasion, and you have those skills like "switch". So if you see somebody is preparing to stun you, you can just interrupt it. Weight increase? I don't think it is a problem. So the only advantage i can see of MJ leather is the + 240 MP.

I think you are not subbed right now? Anyway +4 m.def is really usefull, especially when you are pvping against those mutants. As a fighter class, you don't have m.def passives. Sleep/Hold ressistance, is very useful. Especially the hold ressistance, or can daggers do damage from distance, too? About the vamp-effect, we can argue. Most dagger-classes i know, don't even know that there is a command for normal hit. F1, F2 and F3 (Deadly, Backstab, Mortal). I dunno what kind of player you are, but the vamp-effect can be usefull in pvm. With your high attackspeed, hpregeneration should be faster than with healing pots.

About the +Dex -Con situation. Daggers have low hp and 1 con more or less not really changes something. You get maybe 100-200 more hp. If you want to have stun-ressist get a MJ leather.

If you only decide between NM and MJ, I would say: Take the NM, because it has more advantages which are usefull.

Yo but i think PvE majestic is better, extra mp and if you are rooted get a bow you have archery pattack bonus ^^

btw whats more worth Majestic light or nightmare light

The majestic leather armor part, and the imperial crusader (gaiters or breastplate), are the most expensive armors on the server. iirc ^^

I would go DC if i was a dagger user.
MJ light is for archers.. because you get special archer bonusses, Calli.

Good point Hell, indeed, for fighting mages NM is the choice. For PvE MJ could be better because of extra MP and very few monsters have hold/sleep attacks unlike these with stun ability. I think I keep both sets then... Btw, Cal said about archery bonus... AW really sucks with a bow... Fully buffed on CHP can do very little damage comparing to what it does with dagger.

yeah but what else can you do when you are rooted? I assume you always have a bow in your inventory, that archery bonus could be in handy when pve-ing ^^
