When you join Velvet Touch you will start out as a Familiar. You will be treated with respect as such we ask the same respect in return. You earn your keep in VT by showing your worth, not by whining for help or items.
If the leaders believe you've proven yourself, you will be promoted to Virtue. Which shows that you are a trusted member of Velvet Touch.

When we think you're ready and you accept the responsibilities of a leader position then you can venture into the Trials of Honor which will determine if you can become a Luminary (Male) / Shield Maiden (Female) with the perks named below.

After a long battle of selfsacrifice and loyalty to our order you can become a Guardian (Male) or Venus (Female), an ascended leader within Velvet Touch with powers and rights equal to that of a clan founder.

These ranks are available to everyone in Velvet Touch and my title as Legatus is equal to that of the other commanders.
All this wont mean you'll be treated any less than any of us... and that goes for all members that are out of the test stage of being a Familiar.
